About this item

Cavello trainingsbroeken are iconic Dutch gabber fashion. In the mid-to-late 90s, the gabber and hardcore scene had a very specific uniform: shaved head, Nike Air Max, and Cavello or Australian tracksuit bottoms. Cavello's loud prints, bold colors, and shiny polyester fabric made them instantly recognizable on every rave floor from Thunderdome to Nightmare.

These tracksuit bottoms are collectible because they're inseparable from the Dutch gabber identity. The hardcore scene was a massive youth movement in the Netherlands, and Cavello was its dress code. Original 90s pairs are getting hard to find because they were worn hard — raves, afterparties, and everyday life took their toll. The brand's recent revival has only increased interest in the original vintage pieces.

When buying, check the elastic waistband — if it's stretched out or the elastic is dead, the pants are basically unwearable. Look for fabric condition: pilling, snags, and fading are common on 25+ year old polyester. Verify the inner label is intact and matches known vintage Cavello branding (helps distinguish originals from modern reissues). The more recognizable the print pattern, the more desirable the pair. Matching jacket and pants sets command a premium.
