Shadow of the Beast (Amiga)
About this item
Shadow of the Beast is a side-scrolling action game developed by Reflections Interactive and published by Psygnosis in 1989 for the Commodore Amiga. It was a technical showcase that helped sell Amiga computers — its parallax scrolling, Roger Dean-inspired artwork, and David Whittaker soundtrack were unlike anything seen on home computers at the time.
The game was bundled with Amiga 500 consoles across Europe, making it one of the most recognisable Amiga titles. Original boxed copies with the distinctive Psygnosis packaging are highly collectible. Loose disk copies trade from €25, while complete big-box editions in good condition reach €200 and beyond.
RetroMarketCap tracks live Shadow of the Beast Amiga prices across Vinted, Marktplaats, and eBay in the Netherlands and Europe.
