Turrican: The Final Fight (C64)

Turrican is a legendary run-and-gun platformer developed by Rainbow Arts and released for the Commodore 64 in 1990. Designed by Manfred Trenz, it pushed the C64 to its absolute limits with smooth scrolling, massive levels, and a soundtrack by Chris Hülsbeck that remains iconic in the chiptune world.

Originally released on cassette and disk, Turrican became one of the defining games of the C64 era. The tape version is the most common, while boxed disk editions command higher prices. Complete-in-box copies in good condition are increasingly hard to find as collectors lock them away.
