Zelda's Adventure (CDI, 1994)
About this item
Zelda's Adventure for Philips CD-i is the rarest of the three CD-i Zelda games and the only one developed by Viridis. Unlike the side-scrolling Faces of Evil and Wand of Gamelon, this 1994 title uses a top-down perspective with digitized graphics — making it visually distinct and arguably even stranger than its siblings.
This is the hardest CD-i Zelda to find. Lower production numbers and less meme visibility mean fewer copies circulate. Complete copies with long-box case and manual are genuinely rare. The game is the crown jewel for anyone collecting the full CD-i Zelda trilogy, and it's the one that's hardest to slot in.
Disc rot is an even bigger concern here due to the game's age and rarity — damaged discs can't easily be replaced. Inspect carefully. The long-box is the same fragile design as the other CD-i titles. Complete, working copies justify significant premiums over loose or untested discs.
