About this item

Tunnel Rat is the G.I. Joe underground specialist, first released in 1987 as one of the more popular figures in the line. The 1990 European Tiger Force repaint gives this explosive ordnance and tunnel warfare expert the iconic tiger-stripe treatment. His compact build and specialist gear make him one of the most characterful figures in any G.I. Joe collection.

Tunnel Rat holds a special place among Tiger Force collectors. The original figure was already a fan favourite thanks to his unique specialty and great accessories, and the European tiger-stripe version amplifies that appeal with extreme rarity. He saw limited shelf time in European markets, and today he's considered one of the cornerstones of a complete Tiger Force collection.

The must-have accessories are his flashlight, backpack, pistol, and satchel charges — without these, he's incomplete and loses significant value. Check the yellow base paint for discoloration, especially around the waist and legs where play wear concentrates. The head sculpt should have clean paint on the headband. As with all European Tiger Force figures, a mint-on-card example with the multilingual card back is an extremely rare find that commands top prices.
