The Sims outsold every other PC game of its generation, and for a few years around 2000 it was the game non-gamers owned. That scale means the disc is worthless and the box is not — the big box is the only version with any collector value left.

Complete boxes trade around €40, with Italian first pressings and sealed copies above that. Be careful what you are buying: the market is thick with expansion packs (Livin' Large, House Party, Hot Date) and later Sims 2 boxes, which are a different and much cheaper item. This index tracks the original 2000 release only. Priced daily across Vinted, Marktplaats, eBay, 2dehands and Kleinanzeigen.
