Cheapskate Vehicle — Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1988)

The Cheapskate is one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vehicles from Playmates' 1988 toy line. It's a compact, single-figure skateboard vehicle that came with its own sticker sheet and was designed to pair with any of the four Turtles — though Raphael was the one pictured on the box.

As one of the earliest TMNT vehicles produced, the Cheapskate holds a special place in any Turtles collection. It's small, affordable compared to the Party Wagon or Turtle Blimp, and a great entry point for vintage TMNT vehicle collecting. Loose complete examples show up regularly, but boxed ones are genuinely scarce.

When buying, check that the front axle clip is intact — it's a common break point. The sticker sheet (applied or unapplied) and the foot peg on top are what separate a complete example from a parts lot. For boxed copies, look for the original cardboard insert and instructions. Unpunched sticker sheets add a nice premium.
