About this item
Lost Eden (1995) is Cryo Interactive's prehistoric adventure for the Philips CD-i — humans and dinosaurs building fortresses together, rendered in the pre-rendered 3D that defined mid-90s European adventure games, with a Stéphane Picq soundtrack that still has a following of its own.
It arrived late in the CD-i's life, when the platform was already losing to the PlayStation, so European print runs were modest. It sits at the affordable end of CD-i collecting while being genuinely harder to find than the format's better-known FMV titles.
When buying, check the jewel case and manual, both commonly missing, and inspect the disc face — CD-i discs of this era are prone to label-side scuffing that affects playback more than scratches on the underside. Lost Eden also shipped on PC and Mac; this index tracks the CD-i release only.
