About this item
Panasonic's BT series is the broadcast CRT line that sat alongside Sony's PVM and BVM in edit suites and outside-broadcast trucks. The BT-S1000Y and BT-H1700P turn up in the retro-gaming market for the same reason the Sonys do: RGB and component inputs, and a picture that light-gun games and 240p consoles were designed around.
Less hunted than the Sony equivalents, which keeps entry prices lower — working units run from around €300, with larger studio models past €600. Note this tracks the CRT models only; the later BT-LH flat panels are a separate market. Priced daily across Vinted, Marktplaats, eBay, 2dehands and Kleinanzeigen.
