About this item

Dragon's Lair (1994) is the Philips CD-i port of Don Bluth's 1983 laserdisc arcade game — the one that had queues forming around cabinets to watch someone else play, brought home with the hand-drawn animation intact.

Alongside Space Ace it is the CD-i's showcase title, and the reason the format's storage capacity mattered at all. It sold well enough in Europe to remain findable, which puts it at the accessible end of CD-i collecting rather than among its grails.

When buying, confirm the manual and case insert are present — CD-i cases crack at the hinges and are frequently replaced, which moves value more than light disc scuffing. Check the disc for bronzing: discs pressed at PDO Blackburn between 1988 and 1993 — etched "Made in U.K. by PDO" — can corrode, showing a bronze tint from the outer edge inward when held to light. Other pressing plants are not affected. Dragon's Lair also appeared on NES, SNES, Amiga, 3DO and DVD; this index tracks the CD-i release only.

Drag across the chart to inspect any day — price & volume.

MED — the median asking price across matching listings, tracked daily.

LOW — the cheapest listing available on each day.

Volume bars — how many listings changed each day (new, sold or edited); taller bars mean a busier market.

The price line and the volume bars share one date axis, so a given day lines up across both. The window shown matches the 7D / 30D / 90D you picked.
